180 Connection Peer Support Group



As a participant in our Peer Support Group you will be offered help and support by role models and others who have gone through similar situations. This can be social, practical, or emotional. More importantly, in this program you will benefit from their help.

Our Target Areas: 

-Community Peer advocate working with others to provide services for the community.

-Employing those who would not likely be employed. 

-Using the workplace as a base to form better life skills and provide clients tools for everyday living in our society.

-Serving as a recovery and life skills advocate by providing employment and mentorship for those I serve.

-Demonstrating knowledge and past history of the struggles with life and addiction, through motivational conversation in the workplace.

-Working with individuals in personal crisis situations and overcoming barriers to reach a level of success.

-Engaging, educating, and encouraging individuals to live life on their terms. 

-Create, coordinate, and implement group life skills events.

-Create, coordinate, and implement charity drives with said individuals, as an act of giving back (feeding the homeless).

-Able to work with multicultural individuals, by using the Respectful Counseling Model  to meet each client’s psychological needs, attitudes, values, worldviews, and personal identity.
